And the Fool has the world in his hand!
"The Fool re-enters the World of the living; he has integrated all the disparate parts of himself and achieved wholeness. The World symbolizes the stabilization of the Soul. This state of being is the culmination of many lifetimes; balanced, the Fool no longer feel alienated. Ego can not obstruct the light of consciousness that passes through him. Our spiritual duty throughout various incarnations is to reconcile the realms of Cosmic Consciousness, Self Consciousness and the Collective Unconscious. When this awakening happens, we find ourselves in Timelessness, where there is no uncertainty, sorrow or shame. This epiphany is the zenith of all your labors through many lifetimes, and a portent of extraordinary possibilities."
So that's it, the Fool's Journey! It is what Carl Jung termed an "archetype", meaning, it is a story common to all people, both individually and collectively, and it has been playing out since time began.
That is one of the most wonderful things about the tarot; the direct connection with the ancient and mystical past. It brings us right up to the present, and even into the future. Would you like a glimpse of YOUR future? Or would you like to make sense of your past? Or better yet, live in the present? Order Wejee's Learn Tarot SuperPackage with these 5 FULL LENGTH tarot eBook classics, and five printable decks.
I hope you enjoyed this trip as much as I did! Thanks for traveling with me!

This next card is my personal favorite-
The colors, the shapes, the balance, and the theme, perfect, IMHO!
I have chosen the image of the Egyptian Judgment, with Thoth weighing the heart against the feather of Ma’at….. is your heart as light as a feather? Unburden your heart, and awaken!
"At sunset, the children run home, and the Fool continues his solitary journey. Across the flowering field to a lonely place- a vast cemetery. It seems it is time for the Fool to make a personal Judgement about his life. His own day of reckoning seems to have arrived. Suddenly an angel, or perhaps a god, appears in the sky, and one after another, graves open, and out of them come men and women, old and young, and children. They stretched out their arms toward the Messenger. The Judgment card symbolizes a spiritual awakening; the Fool has passed through life’s trials with a pure heart, and awakened to a glimpse of Divine Knowledge and Truth. Dreams and visions, his emotional being, and Soul are attuned with the Universe in such a way that all his gifts from many lifetimes can live through him now. The Fool raises him arms in praise, along with the awakened Dead, and feels Blessed to be alive."
Rebirth, taking what you have learned thus far in your life's journey, unburdening yourself of guilt, and waking up to a glorious new beginning!

Are you ready to continue this tarot tale?
"Throughout the fearful night the Fool kept to his path. Over the hills, and across desolate fields, the Fool forged onto the dawn. The Sun broke over an endless field of sunflowers, and in this field, children played. “Come and join us!” the children cried. The Fool is filled with a radiant vitality. No challenge is too daunting. The Sun symbolizes a return to Paradise- the inner child feels safe enough to play. The Fool feels his intention, attitude and values are harmonized, he has no hidden motives, no doubts, no fear."
The Sun symbolizes a return to Paradise- your inner child feels safe enough to play. Your intention, attitude and values are harmonized, and you have no hidden motives, no doubts, no fear. You are expressing your highest creativity, and do your best work. Unwind, and enjoy the breathtaking view from the top of the world. This is a time of success, optimism and happiness!

Our webhost graciously fixed the .php problem ASAP, and the Superstore is up and running again, A-OK!

Merry Meet, Folks!
Unfortunately, there is a .php problem in the OsCommerce cart with Wejee's Metaphysical Superstore, and the sub-categories are not coming up like they should.
Very frustrating! After investigating, it seems that the problem lies in the MySQL database, which is attached to our webhost, and not the webstore (yes, technical ga-ga, but that's what it is!)
So, in short, until our webhost can get the MySQL thing straightened out, the Superstore will have limited navigation.
Maybe this explains the low sales volume this holiday season! If it weren't for a customer e-mailing me, I might not have noticed it... I don't browse the categories of my own shop much, I just assume as I upload products, everything is A-OK!
Will keep y'all posted when the Superstore is up and running again!

The Moon casts you into the mysterious abyss; veils of illusion are lifted, your true nature is revealed. You are traveling between the inner and outer worlds, between your civilized mind and your wild heart. Reality changes, your sanity seems to have deserted you. You are left with only your intuition and instincts to guide you to a higher ground. Remember, like the river, you flow and change, yet essentially remain the same.
and the Fool treks on....
"A desolate plain stretched beyond the river. A full Moon looked down, and under her wavering light, the shadows lived their own peculiar life. On the horizon, rose a path which stretched between two gray towers far away into the distance. On either side the path a wolf and dog sat and howled at the moon. Dread fell upon the Fool, but he continued along the path, to the horizon. Traveling between the inner and outer worlds, reality changes, your sanity seems to desert you, and you are left with only your intuition and instincts to guide you to a higher ground. In the pale moonlight, the Fool had the sense of apparitions; of someone watching from the towers, and he knew it was dangerous to look back."

Wejee's Eclectic Tarot Star is graced with the goddess Ma'at; she represents divine order and truth on both a personal level and cosmic level. To align oneself with the principals of Ma'at is to live one's own truth and destiny, in synchronicity with the truth and destiny of the Universe itself. When we contact our Essential Self, our personal lives come into focus, we feel connected, and feelings of alienation fall away. You are knowingly on the road to your Higher Self, with the principals of Truth guiding you like a brilliant star, you are no longer lost in darkness. You are waking up to who you truly are.
But back to our Fool's Journey-
"Running along in the darkness, a strange emotion seizes the Fool; shafts of Light penetrate his being, and illuminate many things before concealed in darkness. The Star shining above, and beneath the radiant stars, beside a river, the Fool spies a Goddess, young and beautiful. "This is Nature's Imagination," said the Goddess gently. "Nature dreams, improvises, creates worlds. Learn to unite your imagination with Her Imagination and nothing will ever be impossible for you. To align oneself with the principals of Nature is to live one's own truth and destiny, in synchronicity with the truth and destiny of the Universe itself. When we contact our Essential Self, our personal lives come into focus, we feel connected, and feelings of alienation fall away. You are knowingly on the road to your Higher Self, with the principals of Truth guiding you like a brilliant star, you are no longer lost in darkness. You are waking up to who you truly are.”
The Fool is on the last legs of his epic journey, and he's not in the clear yet...... one more 'dark' card to go, before it's all sunshine!

Thrown down from the Ivory Tower-
The Fool's Journey, continued from the last installment .....
"Suddenly, the Heavens opened, a thunder-clap shook the whole Earth, and lightning struck the summit of The Tower upon which the Devil sat. "The tower should warn the people not to believe in it. It should serve as a reminder of the inner Temple and as a protection against the outer; it should be as a lighthouse, in a dangerous place where men have often been wrecked and where ships should not go. The Tower is the ego fortress, built of stone, it seems to protect you, but is really a prison.” Severely shaken by this astounding and violent revelation, the Fool runs for his life."
But what does the Tower mean to you? excerpted from Wejee's Eclectic Tarot eBook-
The Tower represents an explosive, creative charge that is unexpected and uncontainable, but presents a dazzling possibility for transformation. Don’t judge whether this is good or bad. You can’t tell right now whether this was a terrible tragedy, or a major advancement, or both. The only thing you can be sure of, things will never be the same.
Next week, the gracious Star.

Sometimes it's fun to be bad-
For Wejee's Eclectic tarot, I threw out all the old school esoteric symbolism, and took a thoroughly modern approach..... sort of a Viva Las Vegas, MTV, S&M bondage thing. Greed and power, sex and drugs....
"Black, awful night enveloped the Earth. An ominous, red flame burned in the distance. The Fool was approaching a fantastic figure- high above the earth upon a tall tower appeared the repulsive face of the Devil. Chained to the devil were a man and woman; "This is a picture of weakness", said the Devil, "a picture of falsehood and evil- they are the same man and woman you saw in the garden,
but their love ceasing to be a sacrifice for God, became an illusion. This man and woman forgot that their love is a link in the chain that unites them with eternity, that their love is a symbol of balance. We’ve been taught to be wary of passion; we fear going too far, taking a fall from grace into hedonism and addiction. Your sensual desires must be accepted as healthy, without fear or shame, or they will be perverted. To grow into a healthy, vibrant individual who can make a difference, you must cast aside the fear and inhibition that is stifling your self expression.”
Heavy stuff...... can things get worse for the poor fool? Yes! Next time, the Tower.
Yours Truly,
Jane Ma'ati Smith

Our friend the Fool has been on quite the journey, hasn't he? Gee, been through some scary stuff, I think it's time to lighten up-
The Temperance card. traditional decks portray an angel, but I thought I would bring this figure down to Earth, as a gentle young lady dressed in pastels. And she says to the Fool....
“My name is Temperance.” In one hand was a cup of silver, in the other a cup of gold, and flowing between these cups a constant, glistening stream of rainbows. By experiencing the extremes, you can find your true balance by experience in the middle. This is a time for healing; I Temperance challenge you to foster a positive outlook. Let go of negative ways of thinking. This is the time to begin healing, and you are ready to take responsibility for yourself. One of the cups I hold is the past, the other is the future. The rainbow stream between the cups is the present. You see, it flows both ways.”
I hope you are enjoying this fool's Journey through the Major Arcana of the tarot! There are many legends as to the origin of the tarot, including the rumor that it is an ancient book of esoteric knowledge, encoded in pictures- from Egypt? Maybe even Atlantis? Ever been left hanging? Been 'hung out to dry'? Or are you just hanging on......
excerpted divinatory meaning from Wejee's Eclectic Tarot eBook http://learntarot.wejees.net
"Like the Sadhu, or Hindu ascetic, you can use this difficult time to find the inner strength needed to clear your Karma. The Hanged Man is at a turning point, confronted by the need to release his Ego. Left hanging alone, he must go within to find a comfortable balance. Situations such as this help to break old patterns; you are strong enough to play this role, you are flexible, with the ability to grow. Your sacrifice will make a positive difference not only within yourself, but also serve as an inspiration to others."
What does our fey friend the Fool think about this fearsome fellow?
"At first, gazing at the man, the Fool feels defeated and lost; sacrificed. The Hanged Man is at a turning point, confronted by the need to release his Ego. Left hanging alone, he must go within to find a comfortable balance. Then, becoming one with the martyr, the Fool is overcome- suspended in a timeless moment, free of urgency and pressure. "He chose this way himself. For this he went over a long road from trial to trial, from initiation to initiation, through failures and falls. And now he has found Truth, and knows himself.”
Sometimes, stuff comes at us out of left field, and sometimes, it's our own darn Karma coming right back at us.....

We have traveled far with the Fool, right up to the brink of Death.... whatever could be next?
"When the Fool finally rose to his feet, he was standing on the stone steps of a great hall; confronting him was the blind folded figure of Justice. She held a sword in one hand and scales in the other. The Fool trembled with awe at her appearance, which was deep and mysterious. "You see Truth," said Justice. "On these scales everything is weighed. This sword is always raised to guard justice, and nothing can escape it. But why do you avert your eyes from the scales and the sword? They will remove the last illusions. How could you live on earth without these illusions? You wished to see Truth and now you behold it!”
What does Justice mean to you? From Wejee's Eclectic Tarot eBook-
Justice asks you to differentiate between what you desire, what you really need, and balance it with the needs and desires of others. In your heart, attempt to understand what is creating the conflict, so you can come to a mutual understanding. Justice is not always fair, sometimes one side must give more than the other, but the bottom line is the greatest good for the greatest number.

Continued from the last installment......
Wejee's Eclectic Tarot features the Egyptian god of rebirth-
As the Egyptians believed, we are all 'Osiris' when we face our rebirth.
Overcome by the sight of the flashing Wheel of Fortune, the Fool sank to earth and shut his eyes. Suddenly, a skeletal rider on a white horse appears- Death. A deadly cold envelopes the Fool, and the Sun sets. The sun sinks at one point and rises at another. Each moment of its motion is a descent at one point, and an ascent at another. "Yes," said a voice. The sun does not think of its going down and coming up. What does it know of Earth, of the going and coming observed by men? It goes its own way, over its own orbit, round an unknown Center. Life, death, rising and falling; do you not know that all these things are thoughts and dreams and fears of the Fool"?

Sorry I have not updated the tarot lessons for almost a month.... took a week off to do some house stuff, including building a pond for the turtles....
They have about 100 extra gallons to swim, and they are loving it! Little did I know, 10 years after feeling sorry for 2 baby turtles in a plastic box on a China Town shelf, would I be building a pond! The vet says, these are the two biggest and fattest red eared sliders she has seen..... I guess that's what a diet of organic chicken wings and shrimp tails will get you!
Still working on my eBay listings, hoping to get them all uploaded at once. I plan on selling more healing herbs, including the supplements, and as a part of that, I have been writing mini eBooks to include with each sale. Many of you are looking at herbs not only for magick, but to heal yourselves. So I have been putting together mini alternative healing guides for all the various conditions, such as allergies, Alzheimer's, liver cleansing, etc. This is a big project, to be sure, and I feel another full sized eBook in the works!
So enough with all that, and on to the next in the learn tarot, Major Arcana series!

Are you ready to play? Wheel.... of..... Fortune!
It's not all fun and games, the Wheel keeps turning, and you have no choice but to move with it. The Wheel of Fortune indicates that your psyche, or your spirit, just won't rest. It keeps hashing and rehashing things you thought were settled, all the should haves, would haves, and what if'’s? The Wheel of Fortune never stops. If you feel like you want to get off life’s Merry Go Round, there is only one way to do it- find sanctuary at the center, the place from which all motion emanates. There is no way to stay on top forever, your challenge is to learn to accept the cycles of life, including all its ups and downs.
"In a strange silence, the Fool continued across the desert, his head swimming with all of the strange events and people he had encountered thus far on his journey. Suddenly, a huge, revolving disc appeared in the sky, and a voice in his head, in the sky, said, “"All must go, all will return, the Wheel of Fortune keeps on turning. All die, all live again, All separate, all meet again, the ring of existence is ever true to itself. Existence begins at every moment. Round each here, rolls a there. The middle is everywhere. The way of eternity is a circle".
And the next step in the Journey? The Fool encounters Death.....

Are you ready to meet the Hermit?
For Wejee’s Eclectic Tarot, I have chosen the image of a Hindu ascetic- he meditates alone, high up in a cave in the Himalayas. One day, when he has reached his Nirvana, perhaps he will travel back down the mountain, to teach us.
And so, The Fool climbs the Himalayas..... remember Brad Pitt, in Seven Years in Tibet? Ok, OK, I know, pure Hollywood fiction, but that Fool learned a few lessons, did he not?
"The roadless plain gives way to step, barren, rocky mountains, and for many, many days, the Fool travels alone. Atop a summit, he spies a figure standing silent, arm upraised, staff in hand. Clambering up the rocky precipice, the Fool comes face to face with the Hermit. “Hello! And who are you?” the Fool eagerly asks. With eyes downcast, the Hermit replies, “I am the nameless one, my relationship is with the world of spirit, not with the world of personalities. My passion is a consciousness that has taken me beyond the Ego, it is the faculty of the wise man by which he isolates himself, even amidst a noisy crowd; it is his skill in hiding his mysteries, even while expressing them, his capacity for silence and his power to act in stillness. Young man, abandon your passion for the trivial. You need not a name to exist.” With that, the Hermit fell silent, and turned his gaze to the Earth. The Fool also fell silent; for how long, he could not remember. But when he finally looked up from the Earth, the Hermit was gone, and he was again alone."

You may have noticed a new category, "Vitamins and Supplements". Herbs have always been our best seller, and I realize many of you use these valuable resources for more than magick.... Wejee's counts a lot of healers and "Kitchen Witches" amongst our loyal customers! So to better accomodate your needs, I have found two wholesale sources of (1) vitamins and supplements and (2) Homeopathic remedies. These are top quality products, some of which might be hard to find in the smaller, more isolated places in this great land!
It is going to take me a while to get it all up on the website.... I am starting with the vitamins and supplements, and there are 252 products, all of which must be inserted one by one! I have made it alphabetically through "B vitamins", and it's a looong way down to zinc! Then on to the Homeopathics, and there are a TON of those too! (Including pet remedies). So, if there is anything you are interested in, please contact us- we can probably get it, but just haven't posted it yet.

Merry Meet, Ya'll!
I am currently investigating sources for alternative health supplements- the biggest seller at Wejee's Metaphysical Superstore has always been herbs, same with our eBay store, so adding supplements to the selection of dried herbs seems like a great idea!
To go along with that, I plan a few more eBooks highlighting herbs, vitamins and alternative health practices. I very strongly believe in the mind/body connection, and in the power of a proper diet, detoxing, and relieving stress.
So all you "Kitchen Witches" and "Root Women" keep an eye out for some new information on healing!

We continue our Tarot lessons with one of the most important lessons in life, the true meaning of Strength-
It is not brute force, or commanding and demanding respect.... you do not need to scare people to be strong, as the Fool learns!
"In the midst of a green and verdant plain, the Fool walks alone. In the distance, he sees a woman dressed in white. She has an aura of Strength. As he approaches, he sees that she wears a wreath of roses upon her brow, and with small and gentle hands, and without a word, she closes the gaping jaws of a massive wolf. “Woman! What are you doing!” cries the Fool. The woman silently places a finger to her lips, calling for silence. Her eyes hold a strange power, sensual and subtle, a calming energy which others react to in kind. The Fool is mesmerized, and understands the woman’s silent pantomime. "This is a picture of power, it shows the power of love. Love alone can conquer wrath. Hatred feeds hatred. Love feeds love. A grounded and centered energy subdues discord, laying the path for harmony and cooperation.” The woman takes the Fool’s trembling hand; laying it upon the jaws of the beast, it becomes calm and steady. The Fool’s heart becomes calm and steady. Silently, the Fool thanks the strange, strong and gentle woman, and he walks away from the wolf unafraid."

Wow, finally all set up and moved in!
When I first contacted AT&T about transfering the DSL service, they said sure, no problem.... til I got here! Then it was "you're too far from the main hub". OK, so now what??? Looked like ComCast cable internet was the only option, and they are kinda a hassle to deal with.... the previous tenant just disappeared (after trashing the place and not paying rent for a few months) and left his cable account open (but unpaid for). So first, I had to bring in a copy of my rental agreement.... then when I mentioned that I wanted the jack moved (the last guy had it on the ceiling... really.) Then I had to get a permission letter from the landlord. Thank Goddess my landlords are super nice!
Funny, I have been running an internet business for a month with NO internet connection, other than my web enabled cell phone, and it kept going! well, the down time gave me the chance to set everything up perfectly, so there are no ties left undone to distract me!
So where were we? Oh yes, the Major Arcana lessons! Ready for another hit?

I am packing up, and moving north about 50 miles to Sebastopol.... I've found a place with a BIG yard, so I can do some gardening, and my turtles can stretch their lil' legs.
I'm selling out everything in the eBay store so if you need bulk herbs at a cheap price, check out the auctions!
After we are settled into our new digs, I will restructure the eBay store- in the future, the herbs will be shipped from the same warehouse as the Super Store herbs, to help insure freshness, and also to streamline the order process for me. I will also look into suppliers for herbal supplements, and I will also be posting my own line of self hypnosis products, as soon as all the sound is mixed.
This is an exciting time, a new phase all around!

Speeding right along, on our trip through the Major Arcana, the Chariot-
I kept this card pretty true to the classic Waite deck, but replaced the black and white sphinxes with a white kitty and a black doggie.... why? Why not?!
And so, the Fool is overcome by the dynamic figure of the Chariot-
"The Fool continues along the dusty path; in the distance behind he hears a great clattering commotion, and soon, he is overtaken by a conquering hero steering a wild Chariot. The vehicle comes to a halt; “Stranger, I am Victory, and I have conquered with Will alone the demons of my own heart.” The Fool is taken aback by the strange beasts that draw the vehicle, and innocently asks the one called Victory, “What are the names of the creatures who draw your chariot?” The Charioteer replies, “Passion and Intellect. They have learned to work together to take me where I want. Climb aboard, and let us seize the reins!”

Ready for some romance? Or maybe not....
Our Lovers are Rama and Sita- torn apart by the forces of darkness, they are reunited by the heroic efforts of Hanuman the monkey god-
The divinatory meaning for the Lovers, according to Wejee's Eclectic Tarot eBook; "Perhaps you are torn within your own heart, or are standing at the crossroads in your relationship to another. We each have a wild inner child, and a civilized, adult outer self; you may not believe they can come together. But the rational and the instinctive can become one in the center, in the heart. Whether the subject at hand is a separation within the self, or between two people, the image of Hanuman is the key; adventurous and playful, yet selflessly devoted to a higher Truth, he overcomes the demons that keep Rama and Sita apart by rediscovering the magic and power he had lost within himself. He keeps the male and female safely united and balanced at his center, warm within his heart. Strived to balance your inner male and female nature within your own heart."
And what of The Fool? Will he find love? read on.....
"Restlessly, the Fool continues his journey down the long, and twisting road of Life. A heart shaped gate crosses the road, and passing through, the Fool finds himself within the walls of a beautiful garden. In the garden stand a shining and luminous man and woman; deeply in love, and their love itself is their service to God. Enraptured and entranced by the Lovers, the Fool feels his heart break, with a yearning for a lover of his own. Suddenly, the pair is torn apart, by some strange, dark force from without. “My God! What have I done!” the Fool cried. A voice answered, “You saw yourself as separate from the world, saw yourself as without. The Lovers can only be reunited within your own heart.” The Fool battled for many days and many nights with many, many demons. He grew as high as a mountain, flew across the sea, and spied upon the darkness in his own heart, but the mystical couple were always just out of reach. Tired and weary, the Fool lays his head to rest on the battlefield; right before his eyes, grows a small, simple, fragrant flowering herb. Plucking the simple flower, the Fool relaxes and remembers the High Priestess and the Magician, the Empress and the Emperor, the High Priest. The Fool regains his devotion to Truth, regains his own magic and sense of adventure. “To Thine Own Self Be True”, and with the magic of those words, the battle ceased. The sacred couple became a Light within the Fool’s own heart. And with that, he picked himself up, and continued on the path."
